Delbert M. CUTTER

CUTTER, Delbert M. - age 76, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Avalon Hospice. Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor John Clair Ferris officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Owosso. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday and 10 AM until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society. Mr. Cutter was born June 5, 1933 in Durand, the son of Adrian and Hazel (VanCise) Cutter. He was a 1956 graduate of Durand High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Roberta M. Worthington on October 3, 1952. Mr. Cutter retired from General Motors Buick in 1988 after 31 years of service. He attended Swartz Creek United Methodist Church and was active in the National and Regional Buick Club of America and Antique Auto Collectors Association. Surviving are: wife, Roberta; two sons, Delbert "Andy" Cutter II and wife, Patti of Swartz Creek, Tarry Lynn Cutter and wife, Carol of Holland; daughter, Debbie Layne Chalifoux and husband, Paul of Choctaw, OK; six grandchildren, Brian Cutter and wife, Shayna and Brad Cutter, Sarah and Nicholas Chalifoux, Natalie Debernardi, Nicholas and wife, Lindsey Debernardi; sister-in-law, Gladys Cutter of Durand; several nieces and nephews.
