Debra Kay Strickert

STRICKERT, Debra Kay - Age 71, of Linden, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024. Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 25, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1025 Main St, Fenton. Pastor Peter Ahlersmeyer officiating. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Sunday from 4-8 PM; and at church Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church. 

Debra was born October 17, 1953 in Flint, the daughter of Lawrence and Lola (Pudvay) Thompson. She was a 1971 graduate of Kearsley High School. She married John Melvin Strickert November 7, 1970 in Flint. She had resided in Linden since 1971. Debra was a beautician for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fenton. She also was a member of Clio Country Club. She enjoyed golfing, sitting on the sun porch and reading, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. 

Surviving are: her husband, John; sons, John and wife, Jeannine Strickert of Linden, Chad and wife, Jennifer Strickert of Holly, and Todd and wife, Malinda Strickert of Swartz Creek; her beloved grandchildren, Katie, Matthew, Brandon, Gabriel, Leah, and Alexander; sister, Christine Thompson of Glennie; brother, Craig Thompson of Glennie; and several nieces and nephews.
