Debra A. Pierson

In loving memory of Debra "Kitty" Ann Pierson, age 61, of Flint, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024. Debra was born August 26, 1962, in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Arnold Leroy & Mabel Mariam (Jones) Thick. She was a 1980 Kearsley High School graduate. Debra and Robin's story began with Debra being a licensed CNA at St. Joseph Hospital in Flint, Michigan and Robin as an armed security officer at the hospital - kicking out the rift raft and helping in emergency situations. They met one day on a lunch break and the moment their eyes met and hands touched, Robin knew right then and there they where destined to be lifelong friends and more. As their journey took them through 39 exciting years, Robin would not have changed one thing except for her COPD and stage 4 Lung Disease. Which eventually took Kitty from this life. 

She leaves behind her loving husband, Robin Pierson; her brother, Bernie Thick and her two sisters, Cherrie Parker and Trina Anderson. Kitty also has two boys, Stephon Thick and Shawn Mercier as well as many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
