ELDRED, Debra Lynn (Cook) -- age 43, of Grand Blanc, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Genesys Hospice. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Rev. Don Neuville officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 7-9 p.m., and Tuesday 2-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Debra Lynn Eldred Educational Fund for her children. Debra was born October 11, 1966 in Flint the daughter of Robert Cook and Wanda (Swartz) Haviland. She was a graduate of Grand Blanc High School and had lived in Grand Blanc all her life. Debra married Jeffrey Eldred on September 28, 1996 in Fenton. She attended Mott Community College and had been employed by Carman Ainsworth for 15 years as a paraprofessional working with children. Debra was a loving wife, mother and wonderful homemaker who will be missed dearly. Surviving are her husband, Jeff and 2 sons, Jeffrey Jr. and Charles Robert all of Grand Blanc; mother, Wanda (Andrew) Haviland of Swartz Creek; father, Robert (Trudy) Cook of Flint; mother-in-law, Diane Eldred (Ronald) Vervaecke of Sterling Heights; brothers, Thomas (Chris), Jeff (Vicki), Jimmie (Jennifer), Andrew Haviland, Charles Cook; brother-in-laws, Bradley (Lanell) Eldred, Jason (Nicole) Eldred; and Stacey Everett of Iraq; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
