Debra Rose Cauchi

CAUCHI, Debra Rose - Age 54, of Montrose, died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 6-8PM Monday and 12-8PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Debra was born August 21, 1953 in Charlotte, MI the daughter of Charles and Betty (Lewis) Grove. She married John Cauchi on December 24, 1980 in Westland. Debra worked as a receptionist for Dr. Zelton Johnson for many years. She was a very special lady who had the ability to make people feel comfortable. She had a wonderful smile, a warm personality and a funny disposition. Debra loved her grandchildren more than anything. To her, being a grandmother was twice as good as being a mom. She will be missed dearly.  Surviving are her husband, John Cauchi of Montrose; 2 children, Ron Bowen of Missouri, Shelly and husband Ken Adams of Gaines; 2 step-children, John Cauchi of Livonia and Jennifer Girardin of Westland; 11 ½ grandchildren; 2 brothers, Charles Grove of Marquette, Daniel Grove of Marshall; 3 sisters, Pat Kopack of Eaton Rapids, Kathy Shephard of Marshall, Mary Prater of Parma; mother-in-law, June Cauchi of Novi.  She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Mary Margie Wallace.
