Deborah Kay ASBURY

ASBURY, Deborah K. - Age 57, of Fenton, died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Caretel Inns of Linden. Funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with Pastor Andy Timm officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Deborah K. Asbury Memorial Fund. Deborah was born May 3, 1953 in Goodrich, the daughter of Walter and Leona (Valentine) Durham. She married Larry W. Asbury August 11, 1973. She had resided in Fenton for the past 32 years, coming from Oxford. Deborah was employed as a Teacher's Aide for Fenton Community Schools. Surviving are: husband, Larry, Sr.; 3 children, Larry Asbury, Jr. of Fenton, Amber and husband Jonathan Timm of Rudolph, OH and Jeremy and wife Stephanie Asbury of South Lyon; 5 grandchildren, Jordan and Carter Asbury and Josh, Kora and Naomi Timm; brother, Robert Durham of Shelby Township; 4 sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews; her faithful companion, Kooper.
