Debora Ann (Forter) Defauw

DeFAUW, Debora Ann (Forter) - Age 52, of Fenton, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021.  Per the family's request cremation has taken place and no services will be held.  Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI 48430.

Debora was born March 14, 1969 in Southfield, the daughter of Glenn and Marryanna (Hycko) Forter.  She was a 1987 graduate of Fraser High School and she attended Macomb Community College.  She was employed by Fenton Public Schools from 2006-2019.  She had resided in Fenton since 2000 coming from Fraser.  Debora enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, and she loved animals.

Surviving are: her daughters, Kelly DeFauw and fiance' Gabrielle Garza of Holly and Erica DeFauw of Fenton; brother, Michael Forter of Illinois; her former husband, Danny DeFauw of Fenton; and nieces, Ashley Brown and husband Mark of New Mexico and Lauren Mercado and husband Mariano of Illinois.
