Davis O'Brien

O'Brien, Davis Jennings, age 22, of Gaines - died October 22, 2021. A personal celebration of life will be held at a later date. Davis was born the son of David and Michele (Renkiewicz) O'Brien in Flint, MI on September 3, 1999. Davis had a joyful spirit and was always smiling. He loved being with his family and was blessed with many loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends. Some things Davis enjoyed were going for rides, especially in the Jeep, daily walks with his mom and the dogs, camping anywhere and everywhere, and simply being outdoors. He had charm and was a ladies' man. He appreciated the rain, snowflakes, and sunshine on his face. He really enjoyed eating Reese's, pudding, and hot chocolate. He had a love for loud noises, especially the sound of gunfire. Davis went through many tough operations during his life, but he also loved to laugh, especially at his family, giving him the loving nicknames of Trooper and Stinker. Davis is survived by his parents; David and Michele O'Brien, his sister Isabella (Kyle) Petermann; sister Olivia and brother Grant O'Brien. Grandparents: Neil and Phyllis O'Brien, and Joan King; and many extended family. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Felix "Papa"  Renkiewicz.
