David "Mike" Wortman

WORTMAN, David Michael "Mike" - Age 75 of Argentine, passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2022. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will follow in Argentine Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Friday and from 12PM until the time of service Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to Fenton V.F.W. Post #3243. Mike was born September 18, 1946 in Durand, the son of Raymond J. and Gladys Louise (Kelly) Wortman. He was a graduate of Linden High School and had lived in Argentine his entire life. Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam and retired from General Motors in 2004. He enjoyed photography, genealogy  and local history. He is survived by his sisters, Raylene Ball and Bonnie Cooney; nieces, Roxanne, Brenda and Melissa; nephews, Randall, Russell and Matthew; special friends, Jeffrey and Janeine Crandell, David, Ashley, Justin, Erin, Kate and their children.
