WILLARD, David "Dubie" Ray Jr. - Age 50, of Flint, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021. Funeral service will take place 1 PM, Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. Pastor Darrell Bailey will officiate with burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will take place from 11 AM to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and again from 11 AM until the time of service Thursday. David was born on October 21, 1970 in Flint the son of David and Beverley (Baker) Willard. He graduated from Kearsley High School, class of 1992. David worked several years at the Vlasic Pickle in Imlay City. He was an avid sports fan and was a fan of the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, Detroit Redwings and University of Michigan. He loved spending time with his family and his little dog, Pealey. He also loved cooking and listening to his favorite music.
He is survived by his mother, Beverley Willard; 5 siblings, Glenda Chamberlain, Beverly Bice, Glen Bice, Laurie Willard, Denise (Damond) Bartsoff and Catherine (Dan) Chandler; several nieces and nephews; special great nephews and niece, Elijah, Aubrey, Myles and great-great nephew, Demetrius.
David was preceded in death by his father, David Willard; brother-in-law, Rock Chamberlain; nephew, Ricky Chamberlain; and grandmother, Marjorie Baker. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
