David Wolford

WOLFORD, David Wayne - Age 63 of Holly, died Saturday, April 7, 2018. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. David was born February 20, 1955 in West Virginia, the son of Arthur and Clara Wolford. He retired from General Motors Truck and Bus after 32 years of service. David was a hardworking father and provider to his family. He frequented many cars shows and loved classic cars and hotrods. David was a funny, outgoing, kind hearted man. He loved taking trips to Daytona Beach, FL with his family. Surviving are: three children, Tara Croft (fiance, Brian Perigo) of Fenton, Brandi Lee "Boo-Boo's" Wolford of Fenton, and David Wayne Wolford II of Argentine; seven grandchildren, Alexis, Ariel, Austin, Ashton, Ayden, Addisyn, and Adrianna; one great-granddaughter on the way, Raelyn; fiancee, LueAnne Marcum; four siblings, James (Cathy) Wolford of Fenton, Janice Lopp of Holly, Trish Wolford of Fenton, and Donna (Michael) Regis of West Virginia; many nieces and nephews; mother of his children, Julie Wolford.
