David Edward VALLEY

VALLEY, David Edward - age 56, of Mt. Morris, died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Providence Park Hospital in Novi. Services will be held 4 PM Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held from 12 PM until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society. David was born August 5, 1952 in Flint, the son of Richard and Jane (Mathews) Valley. He married Rita Atwell on January 5, 1979. David retired from Nabisco after 35 years of service. He was a "jack of all trades" and "grill master". Surviving are: wife, Rita; three children, Rachel of Troy, Sarah of Midland, and Paul of Mt. Morris; mother, Jane Valley; six siblings, Cheryl, Tom, Paul, Rick, Jaynie, and Matt; many nieces and nephews and granddogs. His father preceded him in death.
