TURKOWSKI, David Christopher - Age 36, died Monday, April 16, 2018. Funeral mass will be celebrated 1 PM Friday, April 20, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St. Fenton with Fr. Todd Koenigsknecht celebrant. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Thursday. Visitation will also be held 12 PM - 1 PM Friday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Turkowski children educational fund. David was born January 16, 1982 in Howell, the son of Christopher Turkowski and Marcella Narhi. He was in the Class of 2000 at Fenton High School where he played football. David married Colette Levin on September 22, 2007. He worked at RF Engine until his cancer diagnosis and enjoyed fishing and golfing. David loved sports. He had a crazy love for Detroit Lions Football and especially loved watching his daughters play sports. David enjoyed spending time with family and friends and their annual Fourth of July camping trip. Surviving are: wife, Colette; two daughters, Lily and Ally; mother, Marcella Narhi (Joseph Offerman) of Cohoctah; brother, Roger Turkowski (Kristin Stewart) of Fenton; two sisters, Kelly (Justin) Ladd of Fenton and Melissa Turkowski (Nicholas Alder) of Fenton; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends that were like family. He was preceded in death by: his father, Christopher Turkowski. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituary page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
