David Traurig

TRAURIG, David Tendler - Age 78, of Fenton formerly of Troy, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Services will be held 12:30 PM Friday, December 12, 2014 at The Rock Church, 11400 Linden Road, Fenton. Pastor Wes Morris officiating. Burial immediately following at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church Friday, December 12, 2014 from 11:30 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice. David was born September 3, 1936 in New Haven, CT the son of Emil and Ernestine (Tendler) Traurig. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Boston University. He married Rochelle "Shelly" Freedman March 25, 1961 and she preceded him in death December 30, 2006. David worked in the Hotel and Hospitality industry for 30 years and after retirement he worked for Macy's for 15 years. Surviving are: daughter, Lynn Susan and husband Don Rositano of Fenton and their children, Sean, Jacob, and Donny; son, Scott Richard and wife Pamela Traurig of Alton, NH.
