SWEET, David Daniel - age 73, of Byron, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Byron Baptist Church, 410 Ann St., Byron with Pastor Gary Barber officiating. Interment will follow at Sanford Cemetery in Cohoctah Twp. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel. 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Byron Baptist Church Benevolent Fund. David was born December 31, 1941 in Charlevoix, MI. He was self-employed in maintenance and lighting for cell towers and had owned and operated a dog kennel. Surviving are: wife, Mary Sweet; children, Andrew Sweet of Grosse Pointe, Elizabeth Sweet of OR, Craig (Andrea) Howard of Byron, Margaret (Jay) Joyce of Byron, Heather (Jim) Sparks of IN; grandchildren, Nadia Sweet, Bradley (Krystal) Howard, Benjamin (Megan) Howard, Olivia Howard, Desiree Joyce, Joshua Sparks, Ashley Sparks, Lauren Sweet.
