David Stapp

STAPP, David Otto - Age 52, of Linden, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, August 10, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Nathan Loersch officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the David Stapp Memorial Scholarship Fund, 3100 Owen Road, Fenton, MI 48430 David was born May 5, 1966 in Flint, the son of Dallas O. and Sandra C. (Patsey) Stapp. He was a 1984 graduate of Linden High School. He married Kimberley Mitchelson July 20, 1991 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. He had resided in Linden his entire life. David was employed by Barton Malow Company as a superintendent. He was a member of the Carpenters Union #706 in Saginaw. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all spending time with his family. Surviving are: his loving wife, Kimberley; beloved sons, Peyton and Remington; brother, Dallas Stapp and Buffy Deshazo of Swartz Creek; sister, Sheila (John) Mikusak of Cheboygan; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Karyn and Michael Mitchelson of Shelby Township; brothers-in-law, Michael (Maria) Mitchelson of Shelby Township and Shawn (Maria) Mitchelson of Macomb Township; incredibly special friend, Cathy Utter; aunts, uncles, cousins and several nieces and nephews.
