David Arnold Shaw

SHAW, David Arnold  Age 53, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, November 7, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held from 5-9 PM Saturday and 12-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Thos desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association or The American Brain Tumor Association. David was born April 17, 1952 in Flint, the son of Percy B. and Carleta Ione (Alexander) Shaw and has resided in Swartz Creek his entire life. David was a 1971 graduate of Swartz Creek High School. He married Ginger L. Graves on August 25, 1984. David was employed by Mr. Bread for the last 13 years. He coached Little League Baseball for his son from T-Ball through Senior League. Surviving are: wife, Ginger of Swartz Creek; four children, Cheabon Shaw of FL, Joshua Shaw of Swartz Creek, Erwin Butchie Ragan and wife, Sara of Davison, Amy Abbott of Davison; three grandchildren, Zachary, Megan and Morgan; parents, Percy and Carleta Shaw; three sisters, Christine Tina Shaw of Swartz Creek, Nancy Shaw of Swartz Creek, Cindy and husband, Bruce Dunton of Flint.
