David Ocenasek

OCENASEK, David Nicholas Age 74, of Higgins Lake, MI died at his residence Thursday March 5, 2020. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a later date. David was born March 28, 1945. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School. After graduation David joined the Army National Guard and worked for General Motors in skilled trades. David married Diane Lorene Willhelm November 19, 1988 and they resided in Swartz Creek MI until he retired in 1997 and moved to Higgins Lake. Dave loved the outdoors and his favorite pastime was hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his "girls" and all his grandchildren and his black lab, Tessa. David is survived by his amazing loving wife, Diane Ocenasek & faithful companion Tessa, his 4 beautiful daughters, Kathleen (Jeff) White; grandchildren Jeffery & Jessica; great grandchildren Colton & Jenessa, Kristy (Michael) Theile; grandchildren Brooke & Graceyn Stratman, Nichole Morrow and Trina (Tom) Sherrill; grandchildren Samantha, Keeley, & Tommy. Sister, Stephanie (Rick) Brown, brothers Steve (Ellen) Ocenasek, Tony (Patty) Ocenasek; Special niece, Bobbie (Jeff) Duncan. brother-in-laws; Glen (Dayna) Willhelm, Bo (Angie) Willhelm; sister-in-laws, Joan (Ted) Gipson, Sheri Christensen; Teresa (Curt) Davis, Nancy Ocenasek. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. David was preceded in death by his Parents, Nicholas and Mary (Peever) Ocenasek; father and mother-in-law Wayne and Mary Willhelm, son-in-law, Mitch Morrow; brothers, Robert and John; sister, Margaret Griffus; brother-in-law, Greg Willhelm; Nephews, Tulsa and Nicholas Ocenasek.
