David Metzler

METZLER, David Arthur - Age 62, of Flint, died Saturday, April 4, 2015. Entombment will take place 1:00 PM Saturday April 18, 2015 in the Mausoleum at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser, IL. Those desiring may make contributions to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children. David was born June 30, 1952 in Granite City, IL, the son of Arthur John and Blanche Pearl (Tope) Metzler. He was a 1970 graduate of Flint Northwestern High School. He received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Michigan Flint. David Retired from GM Fisher Body Ternsted. He then was employed as a Deputy Sheriff for the Genesee County Sheriff Department, he retired at the rank of Lieutenant. He was a Shriner, a member of the Morningstar Masonic Lodge #556 F.&A.M, and the Bay City Consistory Surviving are: cousins, Mary Noland of Burton, Rhonda Oleyar and her son, Jesse of Durand, Raymond Noland of Calhoun, GA, and Wayne Holland of Montrose; special friends, Alan Karsner of Justice, IL, Rodney Hunt of Grand Blanc, and John Fisher of Flushing; and many numerous other friends and relatives.
