David Allen McMILLIN

MCMILLIN, David Allen - age 58, of Lennon, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at his residence. Services will be held 2 PM Friday, July 9, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor David Richey officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. David was born June 26, 1952 in Kennett, MO, the son of Gerald and Mary (Peek) McMillin. He married Dortha Thomas on July 14, 2000. He retired from General Motors after 28 years of service and loved to fish. Surviving are: wife, Dortha; sons, David McMillin and Travis (Amber) McMillin; daughters, Kelli and Tori; grandsons, Noah, Eliah, Payton; father and step-mother, Gerald (Ruth) McMillin of Swartz Creek; brother, Jerry (Pam) McMillin of Lennon; sisters, Sandy Nolen of Clio, Marcia (Frank) Grace of Flushing; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward (Opal) Thomas of Harrison; brothers-in-law, Edward (Vivian) Thomas of Harrison, Rick Thomas of Harrison; sisters-in-law, Debra (Louie) Chisa of Harrison, Betty Lloyd of Lake George; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
