David Martin

MARTIN, David Herbert - age 58, of Fenton, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008. A celebration of life will be held 1 PM Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd. with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service on Saturday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. David was born January 1, 1950 in Flint, the son of James A. and Doris L. (Couture) Martin. He retired from General Motors as a repairman in 1988 and operated a snowplow business after retirement. David also enjoyed fishing. Surviving are: four children, Kim (Troy) Shepherd, David Martin, both of Flint, David Maldonado of FL, James Maldonado of Fenton; three grandchildren, Shantel Martin, Troy and Trianna Shepherd; brother, Gary (Susie) Pruett of Fenton; close friends, Bob and Martha Nettleton. David was preceded in death by: his father, James Martin, mother, Doris Hill; brother, Earl; aunt and uncle, Irene and David Pruett and infant grandson, Koi Shepherd.
