David Lopez

LOPEZ, David Rodriguez - Age 76, of Flint Michigan, our dearest father, grandfather, great-grandfather, went to be with the Lord, October  28, 2019. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Friday, November 1, 2019,with a 7PM Rosary at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to Pulmonary Fibrosis, and American Heart Association.

David was born July 8, 1943 in McAllen, Texas, the son of Zacarias and Victoria Lopez. He married the love of his life, Rosa, on September 26, 1966 in Burton, Michigan. He bravely served as a proud veteran of the United States Armed Forces. David worked at General Motors for 36 years, as a skilled machinist. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Church, and also of the Flint Eagles #629. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with machines, and adored all his family. He had a loving, giving heart, and will be missed by all. David is survived by his children, David (Tammy) Lopez Jr., Patricia (Steven) Friday, Victoria Lopez, Manuel (DeAnn) Lopez, and Daniel (Amber) Lopez; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosa Lopez; parents Zacarias and Victoria.
