David Lee Lewis

LEWIS, David Lee  Age 50, of Fenton, loving father and grandfather, has gone to continue his journey with the Lord on Thursday, October 5, 2006 at his sons residence after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, October 9, 2006 at Bristol Road Church of Christ, 1315 W. Bristol Rd., Flint with Minister James Chilton officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Saturday and 1-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will also be held from 12 PM until the time of service at the church. David was born August 13, 1956 in Flint, MI, the son of Fred Lee and Bobbie (Boling) Lewis. He retired from General Motors and was a very active member of the Church of Christ.  Surviving are: Wife, JoAnn; two sons, David (Andrea) Lewis of Swartz Creek, Justin Lewis of Fenton; grandson, Carsen; mother, Bobbie Moore of Flint; two sisters, Judy Brown of Midland, Jackie (Steve) Baird of Sterling Heights; special friend, Sue Franklin of Flint; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
