David Parker

Parker, David L.- Age 61, of  Durand, passed away October 23, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, October 28, 2022 at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, 9252 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Father Gene Geromel officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Owosso. Visitation will be held 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek and 10:00 AM until the service time Friday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the family.

David was born March 24, 1961 in Owosso, Michigan, the son of David Owen and Judith (Kozan) Parker. David was a 1979 graduate of Corunna High School. He married Kathryn D. Case on September 19, 1987 in Swartz Creek. He retired in 2020, after working in skilled trades for many years. His favorite pastimes included hunting, camping, working on and building cars, woodworking, metal working and he was known for being able to fix anything. He enjoyed riding his tractor and Harley Davison.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; son, Michael Parker; sisters, Karen (Todd) Heft and Andrea Parker; nephew, Parker Heft; uncle, Richard (Kathy Kozan; many cousins; beloved dogs, Lockie and Roxy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Jon Parker.
