KRIZAJ, David Edward -- Age 53, of Battle Creek formerly of Swartz Creek, died April 6, 2011 at the VA Hospital, Ann Arbor. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Monday, April 11 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 10 AM Monday until the time of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. David was born September 26, 1957 in Flint the son of Bert Roger Krizaj and Delilah (Palmber) Krizaj. He attended Swartz Creek High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had resided in Battle Creek for the past 20 years. He had volunteered for the Share Center in Battle Creek, the VA Hospital in Battle Creek handling patient transport, mail delivery, and visiting with patients, and the Community Living Center at the VA Hospital answering phones, providing information, and calling bingo. David had worked for Big John Steak and Onion, Burger King, Campbell Soup, and Grand Blanc Manufacturing. Surviving are: special friends, Debbie Gwinn of Clio, Rob and Dawn Holtz of Flint; cousins, Melville Mick of Swartz Creek, Deri Mick of Swartz Creek, David Mick of Grand Blanc; and several other cousins.
