JOHNSON, David Allen - Age 48, of Linden, died April 21, 2017. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, April 24, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Burial will follow in Argentine Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, with a rosary at 7 PM. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM until the time of Mass Monday at church. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org). David was born August 24, 1968 in Dearborn, the son of Leonard A. and Anna Marie (Napolitano) Johnson. He was a 1991 graduate of Michigan State University and Specs Howard School of Media Arts. He started his radio career in Jackson, then St. Joseph, ending his career as a sports announcer at WHMI in Howell. David married Tamara Ann Ostipow on June 11, 2004. He coached and was very involved in Linden Little League and Linden Youth Football. David is survived by his wife, Tamara; son, Michael; mother, Anna Johnson; siblings, Grace (Alan) Kulawczyk, Sylvia (Kenneth) Lee, Julianne (Joseph) VanGilder, Laurence (Patricia) Johnson, Raymond (Amy) Johnson, Leonard (Melony) Johnson; parents-in-law, William and Joann Ostipow; brothers-in-law, Roger (Jody) Ostipow and Jason Ostipow; many nieces and nephews.
