David Smith

Smith, David James, Age 63, of Linden, passed away February 8, 2020. The family plans to celebrate his life at a later date. David was born January 4, 1957 in Garden City the son of Raymond and Clara Bernice (Chambers) Smith. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. David worked as a mechanic and was able to fix anything. He enjoyed fishing, working on boat motors and cars, and riding his bicycle.  He loved going to church, was a past member of Linden Free Methodist Church and attended Miracle City Ministries of Swartz Creek. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, who loved him dearly. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Chris D'Aniello of White Lake; son, Eric Joshua (Ashley) Smith of Grand Rapids; his mother, Clara Bernice Smith; brother, Tim (Kathy) Smith; grandchildren, Christopher D'Aniello and Alex Smith; niece, Kristin Smith; nephew, Ryan Smith.
