JACOB, David G. -- Age 63, of Swartz Creek, died December 18, 2006 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Thursday, December 21 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer officiating. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 11 AM - 9 PM Wednesday, and 10 AM until the time of the funeral at 12 Noon Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to Michigan Chapters of the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. David was born October 4, 1943 in Flint the son of Gerald C. and Geraldine A. (Reed) Jacob. He had resided in Swartz Creek for the past 32 years. He was married to Barbara Ann Culver on November 9, 1963 in Swartz Creek. David retired from G.M. Chevrolet Manufacturing Plant 38 Flint Tool and Die. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. He enjoyed his grandchildren, and he also enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, and hockey. Surviving are: wife Barbara; two sons, David and wife Tatiana of Dayton, OH, Brian and wife Lynn of San Antonio, TX; three grandchildren, Chantelle, Kimberly, and Gerald; mother Geraldine Jacob of Mt. Morris; sister, Sandra and husband John Martin of Flint; brother, Delbert and wife Carole of Mt. Morris; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
