David Lyle HICKS

HICKS, David Lyle - Age 51, of Lansing, died Friday, December 2, 2011. Services will be held 11AM January 7, 2012 at Mt. Hope Church, 202 S. Creyts Road, Lansing. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Dave was born March 22, 1960 in Flint, the son of Lyle and Patricia (May) Hicks. He was a 1979 graduate of Owosso High School. He married Jennifer Schroeder August 10, 2002 in Roscommon. Dave had been employed by Lear Corporation in Houghton Lake for 9 years. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 1839. He had resided in Lansing since 2009 coming from Roscommon. Surviving are: wife, Jennifer; 3 children, Mandi Hicks and Chip Deal of Pennsylvania, Melissa Benchley and husband Quinton of Illinois and Ryan Hicks of Florida; 4 stepchildren, Jason, Jonathon and Joshua Garcia all of Texas and Jesse Schroeder of Lansing; 9 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Coleen Mullins and husband Ray and Rachele Farden both of Prudenville; brother, Mark Hicks of Prudenville; several nieces and nephews.
