David Hamze

HAMZE, David Waheb- Age 62, of Holly, died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Genesys Health Park.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Sheik David Jawhari officiating with burial immediately following in Lakeside Cemetery, Holly.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6-9 PM Monday, 9 AM - 9 PM Tuesday.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Druze Orphanage, Abbey/Lebanon.  David was born June 4, 1946 in Beirut, Lebanon, the son of David A. and Wasila S. (Sefa) Hamze.  He has resided in Holly since 1970 after coming from Lebanon.  David had worked for Hamady Brothers for many years as produce manager and then had worked for Farmer Jack and Holly Foods as produce manager.  Surviving are: 3 children, Dina Hamze and husband Michael Esshaki, Suzie Hamze, Steven Hamze all of Rochester Hills; 3 sisters, Nabiha "Nabi" and husband Nasibj "Sam" Sefa of Fenton, Samia and husband Aref Gharzeddine of Sterling Heights, Leyla and husband Adel Hamady of Fenton; several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kamal D.
