FREAS, David John - age 60, of Boon, MI, died May 20, 2024. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Friday, May 31, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Paws and Prayers Animal Rescue (https://pawsandprayers.org/). David was born January 16, 1964 in Flint, the son of William Samuel and Edith Lorraine (Pelo) Freas. He retired from Exxon Chemical in Injection Molding. David loved History, reading and spending time up North. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and building model tanks and trains. Surviving are: two daughters, Rebecca Lorraine Freas and Melissa Lynn Freas; grandson, Bentley Freas; and dog, Zuka. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edith Freas.
