David Lynn Eldred

ELDRED, David Lynn -- Age 64, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, March 2, 2007 at his home. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 8 at the Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Pastor J.D. Landis officiating. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to the Leader Dogs for the Blind or the American Cancer Society. David was born November 19, 1942 in Almont, MI, the son of Cameron and Dorothy (Balden) Eldred. He was married to Cora Fales on October 18, 1980. He had resided in Swartz Creek since 1989 coming from Mt. Clemens. David retired from G.M. in 1996. He was a member of the Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Surviving are: wife Cora; two children, Amy and husband David Wahls of Goodells, MI, Jeff Eldred and wife Colleen of Washington Twp., MI; four grandchildren, Olivia, James, and Christina Eldred, Anna Wahls; father, Cameron Eldred of Grand Rapids; two sisters, Jane Woodliff of Grand Rapids, Gayle Ford of Wooley Valley, WA; nephew, Andrew Woodliff; two nieces, Beth Garbe, Katie Woodliff.
