David A. Edmonds

David A. Edmonds, age 71, of Gaines, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023. David will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. David was born on June 4, 1952, in Flint, Michigan to the late Charles & Joyce Edmonds. He attended Atherton High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. David married Kathy on April 19, 1984, and together they shared many adventures. In the early years they enjoyed riding their Harley's and snowmobiling. David spent a lot of time on the golf course with Chuck; he truly looked forward to every round of golf. They spent many years traveling the states with their RV and the past 5 winters in Patrick Air Force Base in Florida. David was an "old car fanatic"; his all-time favorite car is a '57 Chevy. David loved classic country music and his fondest memories where those spent having fun with friends and family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Edmonds; three children, David (Melissa) Edmonds, Heather Edmonds and Andrew Wolfe; two grandsons, Brendan and Logan Edmonds and his three siblings, Chuck (Cindy) Edmonds, Larry (Laura) Edmonds and Sherri (Rick) Avant. David is further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
