David William Dixon

DIXON, David William "Dave" - Age 73, of Flushing, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025. Cremation has taken place and services will be announced at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice. 

Dave was born December 10, 1951 in Flint, the son of Miles Franklin and Shirley Mae (Barnett) Dixon. He was a 1970 graduate of Flushing High School. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He married Janelle Marie Hynes September 15, 2001 in LasVegas, NV. Dave retired from GM Metal Fab. in Grand Blanc after 30 years of service. He enjoyed going to the casino's, bowling, golfing and watching Detroit Tiger's baseball games. 

Surviving are: his wife, Janelle; children, Candace (John) Broner of Mt.Morris, Christine (Christopher) Campbell of Clio, Kenneth (Erica) Long of Gladwin and Michelle (Timothy) Blake of Davison; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Dan (Debbie) Dixon of California, Don (Sherry) Dixon of Texas, Joe (Suzie) Dixon of California and Darlene (Ed) Messenger of California; and several nieces and nephews.
