CAMPBELL, Dr. David S., D.O. - Age 83, of Fenton, passed away April 23, 2024. Memorial Service 1:00 PM Wednesday May 8, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. His Service will be livestreamed and may be viewed by scrolling down below his obituary. Visitation 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Wednesday. David was born March 16, 1941 in Longview Texas, the son of Samuel D. and Delight (Scothorn) Campbell. He married Gail Daunt in Otisville on April 28, 1967. David attended St. Mark's School of Texas, The University of Texas at Austin and The Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He proudly served as a Captain and Flight Surgeon during the Viet Nam War. While serving, he was awarded the bronze star for valor by the U.S. Army. David enjoyed socializing, studying, and playing pool during his college days. He also enjoyed boating on Lake Fenton.
David is survived by his daughter Lisa Campbell; sons Joe Daunt and his wife Karen Kennedy, Timothy Davis Daunt and his wife Leah Davis-Daunt, and Matt Daunt and his wife Laurie Daunt; grandchildren, Timothie Davis, Madeline, Lucas, and Charles Daunt; sisters, Claire Leggatt and Jan Campbell.
