David Benning

BENNING, David Scott - age 53, of Durand, passed away May 13, 2022. Inurnment and Military Honors 2:30 pm Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Arrangements entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make donations to the family to assist with funeral expenses. David was born May 19, 1968 in Detroit, to the late Donald Sr. and Linda (Farmer) Benning. He was a proud Army Veteran. David was a loyal friend of Bill W., he loved watching Gunsmoke and other Western movies. He is survived by: his daughter, Brionne "Bri" (Dominic Willis) Benning; his identical twin brother Donald Benning Jr.; brother Robert Benning; sister Judy Preston; beloved four-legged companion Lucky; and several nieces.
