Darryl Russell SWANK

SWANK, Darryl Russell -- Age 63, of Fenton, formerly of Massillon, OH, died December 29, 2009 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. A Memorial Gathering will be held 2 PM Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Tee-Bone'z Tavern on the Water, 3482 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. A Memorial service will be held 3 PM Friday, January 8 at Heitger Funeral Home, 639 1st St. Northeast, Massillon, OH. Visitation will be there from 1 PM until the time of service. (www.heitger.com.) Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, Canton, OH. Mr. Swank was born July 28, 1946 in Navarre, OH, the son of Russell and Jeanne (Stockburger) Swank. He had resided in Fenton the past eight years coming from Massillon, OH. Mr. Swank was the Director of Sales and National Merchandising Manager for FMR (a marketing company serving the automotive industry.) Darryl's was a full life lived with incredible gusto among those he loved so much, his family and friends. They knew Darryl for his positive attitude toward any challenge as well for his great love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing and his beloved dogs. For those who's privilege it was to know him, among their treasures is the friendship and life of Darryl Swank. Surviving are: two sons, Matt and wife Sheri of Seattle, WA, Todd of Phoenix, AZ; two grandsons, Parker and Braden; parents, Russell and Jeanne of Sarasota, FL; brother, Jim and wife Renee; sister, Marsha and husband Jeff Caveslio; brother-in-law, Chuck Stoner; and many dear friends.
