Darrell Auker

Auker, Darrell Raymond, age 69, of Burton, passed away Sunday November 9, 2008 at Genesys Regional Medical Center, from complications of diabetes. Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday, November 13, at Sharp Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township, with Dr. Darrell Foltz officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Darrell was born September 24, 1938 in Flint, the son of the late Milo and Freda (Dillard) Auker. He graduated from Flint Central High School in 1957. Darrell worked for and retired from Flint Metal Fab. He enjoyed sports, fishing, bowling, shooting pool and playing pinochle online. Darrell is survived by his son Kevin Auker; his daughter Anastasia 'Stacy' Auker-Staab, her three children, Jessie, Hailey, and Lacey Staab; his daughter Autum Fibranz (Auker) and her two children Zachery and Andrea Fibranz. Also surviving are his siblings, Marvin Auker, his sister-in-law Carol Auker, his sister Lorretta Sibilski and brother-in-law David Sibilski, his brother Dan Bromfield and brother Scott Bromfield. Darrell was easy going and a friend to many, his smile and generous spirit will be sadly missed by his son and two daughters and the rest of his family.
