Darrel Taylor

Taylor, Darrel Joe - Age 89, of Grand Blanc, died June 17, 2020. Private services will be held with burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Darrel was born August 3, 1930, the son of Cassius David Taylor and Nettie Bertha (Small) Taylor. He was a 1950 graduate of Mandeville High School. Darrel proudly served in the United States Army in Korea. He married Arlene Ayre on June 6, 1959. Darrel retired from General Motors in 1983 with 34 years of service. Darrel is survived by his wife of 61 years, Arlene; 3 sons, Karl, Kevin (Lori), Kris (Brenda) all of Flint; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Erma Ward.
