McCASLIN, Darlene Iris - Age 77, of Byron, died March 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Durand Church of the Nazarene, 9725 E. Monroe Rd., Durand. Dr. Michael McCarty and Pastor John Walworth will officiate. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11-2 & 4-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden and from 9 AM until the time of service Wednesday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice or Durand Church of the Nazarene. Darlene was born March 2, 1940 in Moscow, ID, the daughter of Elward Burt and Iris Iva (McCoy) Cobb. She married William G. McCaslin on August 30, 1963 in Tacoma, WA. Mrs. McCaslin was an active member of Durand Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed cooking, but her family was her favorite hobby. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William G. McCaslin; children, William E. (Kris) McCaslin, Edward F. (Sue) McCaslin, Dawnette (Brian) Smith, Darletta (Clark) Ingham; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Farrell (Sally) Cobb; sister-in-law, Susan Cobb; several nephews and a niece.
