Darla Jean KOLB

KOLB, Darla Jean, age 61, of Flint, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at home. Services will be 5PM Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Pastor Harvey Fry officiating. The family will receive friends 2PM Wednesday until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family. Darla was born November 14, 1947 in Flint, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Patricia (Olsey) Mathews. She married Donald Kolb December 6, 1986 in Groveland Twp. Darla was the State President of the Military Order of COOTIES and a member of the Flint VFW Post #822 Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Donald Kolb; 2 daughters, Angela Mahnke (Rodney) of Linden, Nadine Warner of Flint; 7 grandchildren, Brittany Villafane, PV2 Jay Tijerina, Kellie Mahnke, Carter Johnson, Noah Mahnke, Angel Kolb and Justin Kolb; brother, Lawrence Mathews (Kay) and 2 sisters, Debra DeOrnellas (John), Donna Dell (Bernie) all of Flint; and several nieces and nephews.
