Darel Morris

MORRIS, Darrel E. - Age 81, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, formerly of Burton, died Thursday, March 8, 2007 in Florida. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. with Mr. Bob Riddle officiating. Mr. Morris moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1992 from Burton. He was a Navy veteran having served in World War II. He enjoyed playing the guitar. Surviving are his wife, Jennie; 2 sons, Douglas and wife Rose Morris of Mt. Morris, Gregory and wife MaryBeth Morris of Detroit; daughter, Linda and husband Bob Riddle of Clinton; step-daughter, Linda and husband John Bauldry of New Smyrna Beach, FL; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Frank and wife Susan Morris of Orlando, FL; 2 sisters, Helen Broadhead and Nellie Arnold, both of Summerfield, FL.
