Daphne Anderson

ANDERSON, Daphne Darleen - age 79, of Grand Blanc Township, passed away Thursday March 9, 2023.  Per her request, cremation has taken place.  Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. In lieu of flowers, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Daphne was born October 30, 1943 in Sparta, IL , the daughter of Milton and Juanita Pfeiffer.  She married Richard "Rick" Carl Anderson on April 19, 1990 in St. Louis, MO.  She grew up in St. Louis, MO until 1972 when she left and went to work for the Army at Fort Polk, LA for 13 years.  After the Army, she moved back to St. Louis and married Rick.  They then moved to Raleigh, NC.  They moved to Milwaukee, WI in 1991.  She retired in 1998.  She was a Girl Scout Leader for 4 years for Troops 335 and 1335.  They moved to Grand Blanc in 2004.  Daphne was an auxiliary member of several veteran organizations.  She and Rick were also members of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Holly, MI.  Daphne enjoyed traveling with Rick and working with children.  She filled most of her evenings sewing, crocheting, knitting, and cross stitching.  She always appreciated Rick's extra hand with her projects.

She is survived by: her children, David Guenther (Tracy); Vicki Anderson (Joshua Henning), Richard Carl Anderson Jr. (Victor); granddaughter, Arianna Noel; siblings, Milton Pfeiffer III (Donna), Joseph Pfeiffer (Sandy), Gregory Pfeiffer; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rick; son, Eric Guenther; parents; and brothers John and Steven Pfeiffer.
