Daphine Mary Seymour

SEYMOUR, Daphine Mary - Age 83, of Fenton, formerly of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, September 2, 2004 at her daughter's residence in Fenton. Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Pastor Larry Gill officiating. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-4 and 6-9 pm Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Michigan Heart Association or the Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene Building Fund. Mrs. Seymour was born January 7, 1921 in Stanton, MI, the daughter of Oral B. and Julia (Wietke) Case. She married Arthur J. Seymour on May 21, 1970 in Indiana and he preceded her in death on October 3, 1995. She retired from the Flint Public Library in 1983 after 20 years of service. Mrs. Seymour is survived by: daughter Judy Covey of Fenton, son Charles Hutchinson and wife Sally of Columbiaville, daughter Nancy Snider and husband Delbert of Swartz Creek, daughter Karen Mead and husband Rodger of Burton; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sisters Arlene Clark and husband Bernal of Oscoda, Evelyn Kendall and husband Dick of Texas. Mrs. Seymour was preceded in death by: grandchildren Charles Todd Hutchinson, Christine Marie Hutchinson; sisters Donna Tebo, Dorothy Tebo, Maxine Fickes; brother Donald Case.
