Danny Alvin Grady Sr., age 66, of Houghton Lake, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024. Private interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. A celebration of life will take place from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the Trillium Banquet Center, 6415 State St. Saginaw MI, all are welcome to celebrate him. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. 

Danny was born on May 4, 1958 in Dowagiac, MI the son of Albert Grady and Barbara Buck-Wilson. He graduated from Dowagiac High School, class of 1976. Danny proudly served in the United States Army serving from 1977 until his honorable discharge in 1982. He continued his education at Texas State Technical College earning his associates degree in BioMedical Engineering. Danny worked for the Detroit Children's Hospital Covenant Hospital in Saginaw and lastly retiring from Munson Hospital in Grayling. He enjoyed watching basketball and cheering on the Michigan Wolverines. Danny was loved by many. He would never miss a moment to spend time with his kids and he was known to many as “Uncle Danny.”

He is survived by his children, Danny Grady Jr., Alexander Grady, Mariah (Cam) Mundy and LaToya (Rob) Harden; father, Albert Grady; and sisters, Cathy (Larry) Ash, Tracy and Vicki (Earl).
