D'Anne Williams

Williams, D’Anne Kay, age 84 of Linden (formerly of Flushing) passed away on August 20, 2020.  A private family service will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430.  Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing, MI.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice or Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. D’Anne was born on August 31, 1935 in Lansing, the daughter of Lloyd Vanderbeck and Thais Hendra.  D’Anne grew up in Lansing and graduated from Lansing Eastern High School and Edward W. Sparrow School of Nursing.  She married her high school sweetheart David F. Williams Jr. on September 15, 1956.  He preceded her in death on April 28, 1981.  D’Anne was a CCU nurse at Ascension Genesys for over 20 years before retiring.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to travel, her MSU Spartans, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children: Deborah McCormick, Jeffrey (Christine) Williams; 5 grandchildren.  D’Anne was also preceded in death by her parents.
