WILLIAMS, Daniel O.  Age 64, of Swartz Creek, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 24, 2004 at his residence. Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 31 at Faith Baptist Church, 7306 E. Atherton Rd., Davison, Pastor John Lewis and Pastor J. Michael Bates officiating. Private burial services will be held. Visitation will be 2-9 PM Wednesday, January 28 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Swartz Creek Center Stage or Emmanuel Baptist Theological Seminary. Mr. Williams was born October 24, 1939 in Flint the son of Otis and Eleanor (Elie) Williams; he had resided in Swartz Creek all his life. He was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School, Flint Junior College and Eastern Michigan University. He married Ann L. Alexander on July 9, 1959 in Grand Blanc. Mr. Williams taught Art and Drama at Swartz Creek Middle School and Drivers Training at Swartz Creek for 33 years retiring in 1995. He coached girls JV and Varsity Basketball and Junior High Track and Cross Country. He was very involved in the talent shows and dinner theatre, writing, directing, and building the sets. Mr. Williams served on the Board of Directors for Swartz Creek Center Stage and appeared in their productions. He was also very active in Swartz Creek Hometown Days. Mr. Williams was an avid runner and completed several marathons. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Davison. Surviving are: wife Ann; 3 children, Paul and wife Cindy of Durand, Laura and husband John Hagglund of Howell, Daniel Jr. and wife Marcie of Fowlerville; 8 grandchildren, Alexander, Elizabeth and Emily Williams, Krista and Eric Hagglund, Rachel, Benjamin and Jessica Williams.
