Daniel Traywick

TRAYWICK, Daniel Edward - age 62, of Fenton, died March 10, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, March 13, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor Jim Menzing officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Daniel Traywick Athletics Scholarship Fund, 11425 Torrey Rd., Fenton, MI 48430.  Daniel was born July 17, 1957 in Flint, the son of William Leroy and Mary Jane (Castle) Traywick. He graduated from Flint Northern High School where he played basketball, hockey and golf. Dan married Kimberly Rohen on November 3, 1978. He retired from General Motors Grand Blanc Metal Fab as a Committeeman after 31 years of service. Dan loved to golf, he and his golf buddies took annual golf trips and he was the inaugural winner of the Melbourne Invitational Green Jacket. Dan was an active grandparent and active winner in Fantasy Football leagues with his sons. He is survived by: his loving wife of over 41 years, Kim; three children, Daniel B. Traywick of Fenton, Nicholas R. (Nicole) Traywick of Linden, and Taylor M. (Joseph) Booker of Fenton; three grandchildren, Tyler, Alexis and Hayden; brother, William (Marcia) Traywick of Grand Rapids; sister, Debra Traywick of Wichita Falls, TX; many nieces and nephews.
