Daniel Joseph Phalen

PHALEN, Daniel Joseph  Age 50, of Linden-Fenton, died Sunday, June 13, 2004 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Thursday, June 17, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton.  Interment in Argentine Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Tuesday, 2-9 PM Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Daniel J. Phalen Memorial Fund. Daniel was born June 8, 1954 in Flint the son of Joseph and Catherine (Devine) Phalen. He had resided in the Linden-Fenton area his entire life. He attended St. John School and graduated from Linden High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Daniel married Tina M. Chittick in Fenton in 1979. He owned and operated Fenton Radiator where he worked along side his father-in-law, William Chittick, until Mr. Chitticks death. Surviving are: wife, Tina; 3 children, Renâ?se Phalen and Donnie Crist of Fenton, Katie Phalen of Linden, Daniel Phalen Jr. of Linden; mother-in-law, Lucille Chittick of Argentine; 3 brothers, Jack and wife Vivian of Florida, Joseph and wife Janet of Byron, Richard and wife Kathy of Connecticut; sister, Nancy and husband Nelson Brown of Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
