MOYER, Â Â Daniel A., age 80 of Beaverton, formerly of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, May 14, 2005 at home. Â He was born in Clifford, Mi. on November 29, 1924 the son of William H. and Mary (Prettyman) Moyer. Â He and Clara Trowbridge were married in Flint on April 21, 1960. Â Mr. Moyer was an inspector at the Fisher Body Division #1 and retired in 1982 after 31 years of service. Â He was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army and was a life member of the VFW Post 3720 Amvets in Swartz Creek. Â He loved to work in the garden, tinker with motors and was always willing to help others. Â Surviving is his wife Clara of Beaverton, 4 daughters; Danell Moyer of Beaverton, Michelle and husband David Jewell and family of Swartz Creek, Denise Todd and family of Swartz Creek, and Teresa Moyer and family of Mt. Morris. Â Also surviving are step-son Michael and wife Ricky Kelly and family of Grayling, step-daughter Christine and husband Rick Sturdivant and family of Grayling, Step-son James and wife Robin Howard of Lake Mi., step-daughter Deborah Nostrand land family of Florida. Â There are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a brother, Leander Moyer and wife Phyllis of Gladwin. Â Mr. Moyer was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Joyce, Alice, Agnes, Vivian, Garnet and a brother William. Â Â Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at the Sharp Funeral Home, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek. Â Pastor Don Browning, Jr. will officiate. Â Military honors will be presented by the VFW Post # 3720 Amvets. Â The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until service time. Â Memorial gifts in his name are being accepted for Special Olympics.
